I am writing this letter -in appreciation and to thank you for the professional manner in which you performed your duties as a D.J. at Sara and Craig's, wedding last month.
The list of songs you supplied us from which Sara and I picked to be played at the reception was comprehensive and suited both of our tastes, mother and daughter:
During the reception I had people come to me and say how pleasant the music had been during the dinner and how it had been nice to be able to hold a conversation because the music hadn’t drowned out all other noise. Even the owner of the reception venue came to David and I and told us how impressed he had been with you. And we certainly enjoyed the music we dance to.
'Your expert advice and your willingness to help with the music before the wedding was really appreciated.
I think the music at a wedding reception its just as important as the 'Venue and the food: We certainly hit a trifecta on the above.

We were looking for a DJ who could give us a variety of music to suit both the age groups and ethnic background that would be attending our wedding. We also has specific requirements for how long music would play between speeches and meal servings, as well as wanting a variety of music both fast and slow so that our wedding would remain an elegant evening rather than turn into a night club with loud music. .
Darryl managed to fit music down to the minute for our requirements so that the timing of the evening was precise, and the volume was always well managed so that the older people at the tables were still able to talk amongst themselves without yelling. He had a vast array of music available to chose from and we were able to ask Darryl's input for song suggestions when we were stumped for ideas.
His professionalism through the whole night helped to make the evening even more special. Thanks again Darryl.

Dear Darryl,
I had to drop you a letter thanking you for DJ’ing and MC’ing Gail’s 40th birthday party last month. The music, lights and timing was just fantastic.
It was a great idea to meet before hand so we could go through your collection of songs to see what Gail wanted to be played that night. Your extra suggestions of music to fit into Gail’s 60s/70s birthday theme worked really well too.
We were going through the photos the other day and I think that you had the whole party up and dancing to the Nut Bush and YMCA. I know our guests enjoyed the evening’s music and dancing from the many comments that we have received.
It was wonderful to see Gail having such an enjoyable time and quite funny when her favorite songs came on, she would drag onto the dance floor whoever she was talking to at the time.
Thanks again for helping make Gail’s birthday a night to remember.
